Luke 15,11,32

"A man had two kids. The younger said to his father, 'Father, I want my share of the inheritance.' So he divided his estate between them. "Not long after, the younger son gathered all that he had and went to a distant region; And there he wasted his goods living irresponsibly.
Being lavish means wasteful, irresponsible, enjoying life in pleasures while you can, day-to-day. So are many living in the world.

They are spending the inheritance of the Father, the life God gave, the money, the health, the properties, the wonderful clients that give profit, the good job, the faithful woman and man, the decent, happy family, The good clothes, the shoes, the good friends, the wonderful trips of leisure, the excellent health plan, etc.
All this is God who gives, since honestly conquered. It is the inheritance of the people, the right to live well, with dignity.
The prodigal son decided to spend his inheritance, the goods of God, the Father. It is not wrong to spend the inheritance as long as the source is respected, where it came from, who helps us, our neighbor, and the creator. But also, one should spend on certain things that pleases God.
The prodigal after being hard, felt the pressure of society that only gives value to who has. And he became a beggar, and even wanted to eat the food of the pigs where he worked. This is how the world does with who has nothing, money to offer, to buy, to spend. It is the mentality that the world system has created. It is the world of appearance, ostentation.
The elder brother did not like that Father prepared a feast celebrating repentance, the return of the prodigal. The father told the eldest that all that he had was his too, and that the feast represented the joy, the love of him, of the Father for the return of the prodigal ..
The return of the prodigal represents the journey of faith, of the will to please God. It is a sincere commitment, a recognition, is to give value, honor, praise to who deserves, to the sources that help us. It is to be grateful.
Even one who gives us a plate of food when we feel hungry always deserves to be remembered, honored and helped. You can not spit in the face, on the plate, up the stairs stealing, manipulating, cheating, stepping on the head.
The Father, God gave everything back to the prodigal son because in the celestial kingdom, of faith, of love, riches are not spent, do not corrupt, have no limits. It is a treasure reserved for all who walk by faith. The faith of the Father, his love reigns for ever and ever.
